F-35C Developmental Test - II

In October 2015, the US Navy in conjunction with Lockheed Martin, conducted Developmental Testing phase II with the F-35C onboard the USS Dwight D Eisenhower. The test period involved aircraft and personnel from VX-23 "Salty Dogs" out of NAS Patuxent River and further expanded the aircraft's flight envelope as well as its shipborne capabilities
